My Story (Take it with a grain of salt)
My love for French culture eventually led me to my French wife, whom I "captured" in the picturesque Spanish town of Pozoblanco and never let go. Today, we live in a former one-room village school in France, where we have spent years perfecting the fine art of baking Quiche Lorraine and the serious business of croissant appreciation. With three grown children—two sturdy lads and a charming daughter who have already flown the coop—we’ve managed to take family management to a whole new European level. When I’m not juggling keys on my keyboard or trying to decode the deep mysteries of French grammar, you’ll likely find me playing boules in the schoolyard. My motto: “A good trade is like a perfect shot in Pétanque: precise, strategic, and delivered with a touch of elegance!” So, if you ever find yourself in need of a wholesale expert or a passionate croissant connoisseur, you know who to call: the Grandmaster of the French village school! P.S.: In case anyone is wondering about the young lady in the banner above... I asked an AI to generate an image for my book “Die Lopare” featuring this lady in an O'Neill-style top hat. It didn’t quite work out, but I liked the result so much that I decided to use it as my banner. She’s been gracing the top of my page ever since. Thank you for stopping by, and please—don’t take anything you read here too seriously. Best regards, Robert Rössler |

I have been running this small homepage since 2023, for almost three years now. The idea originally came to me as a blog for my participation as a volunteer at the Olympic Games. Since then, I have been using it simply to process my concerns about world events or, because I am actually an optimist at heart, to write the world a little brighter.

I still remember the bewildered look on my face when, as a child, I was playing with the front-loader of our brand-new VCR. It was a state-of-the-art Video 2000 system back then, which, upon pressing the eject button, didn’t actually eject the tape but instead burst into flames.

Born in Aachen and raised between Bonn and Meckenheim, I initially launched into an "impressive" career as a wholesale and foreign trade merchant. But as life happens, things didn’t go quite according to plan.
